At Kahuwa, our mission is to provide an inspiring, safe, and positive environment where creators and viewers can share original short videos. These Community Guidelines define what is and is not permitted on Kahuwa. They apply to all content: videos, audio, comments, live streams, profile bios, and messages.

1. Safe & Respectful Community

Harassment & Bullying: We do not tolerate targeted harassment, cyberbullying, doxxing, stalking, or malicious insults aimed at any individual.

Hate Speech: Content attacking individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, disability, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation is strictly prohibited and subject to immediate removal.

Dangerous Content: Do not post videos encouraging self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, dangerous stunts that risk severe injury, or illegal drug manufacturing.

2. Content Standards

Adult & Nudity: Kahuwa is a general-audience platform. Sexually explicit content, pornography, full or partial nudity, sexual solicitation, and sexually suggestive content involving minors are strictly banned. Accounts posting child exploitation material will be terminated immediately and reported to law enforcement.

Violence & Graphic Content: Gratuitous violence, gore, torture, cruelty to animals, and graphic accident footage intended to shock or disgust are not allowed.

Illegal Activities: Content promoting illegal weapons trade, illicit substance sales, organized crime, terrorism, human trafficking, or financial scams is strictly prohibited.

3. Authenticity & Anti-Spam

Original Content Encouraged: Kahuwa celebrates original creativity. Re-uploading watermarked videos from other platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) without transformative value will not be recommended on the "For You" feed and is ineligible for monetization.

Spam & Engagement Manipulation: Mass uploading identical clips, deceptive clickbait thumbnails, keyword spamming in captions, and artificially inflating views/likes via bots or engagement pods are strictly forbidden.

Impersonation: Creating accounts posing as celebrities, brands, or other creators without clear parody labeling is not allowed.

4. Creator Monetization Code of Conduct

Creators enrolled in the Kahuwa Monetization Program must uphold higher community standards:

Content must be family-friendly and advertiser-safe to receive ad revenue share.

Creating controversial, sensationalist, or borderline-violating content to maximize views will result in demonetization.

Self-clicking ads, soliciting friends/viewers to click ads, or running automated scripts on ad-bearing videos will result in instant permanent ban and earnings forfeiture.

Creators must disclose paid sponsorships, brand promotions, or material connections in their video captions using #ad or #sponsored.

5. Reporting Violations & Appeals

How to Report: Tap the "Report" flag on any video, comment, or profile to submit a violation report. Our moderation team reviews reports 24/7.

Enforcement Actions: Depending on severity, actions range from content removal, warning strikes, monetization suspension, temporary feature restrictions, to permanent account termination.

Appeals: If you believe your content was removed in error, you can submit an appeal through your Creator Studio or by emailing [email protected] within 14 days of the moderation decision.
